This scanner has sophisticated built in technology and a simple, good looking OS that makes it an extremely pleasant scanner to use. What does this scanner do best? Well, it has many different features, it has a fast scanning feature that is capable of scanning over 24 pages in just one minute. It can scan up to 50 pages at once and the scanner is compatible with both sides scanning; so there is no need to worry if you often print out your work double sided.

The Neat desk also comes with a free 30 day subscription to the Neatcloud which allows you to sync and backup your Neatfiles and even save them there to access them at a later date on your IPad browser or even your mobile device. The scanner also comes with a guarantee that means you can have your scanner replaced if it breaks as long as you are subscribed to the Neatcloud. Although this does mean your paying for the guarantee I personally think it is worth it as the Neatcloud is a nice feature to have, especially if you work around a lot.

A bit more about the scanner. The scanner specifications are quite impressive with some of the most up to date specs you will surely love the experience of using this scanner. It has 600 DPI maximum resolution and OCR (Optimal Character Recognition), this pretty much means that your image will be crisp and clear. This will make what you are reading on screen to be exactly what is on the paper. Which as a scanner is something that you’d expect.

Throughout this Neat desk review so far, I have only mentioned some of the best things about the scanner. But of course as with every bit of technology nowadays, its never perfect. One of the worst things about it is its quite a chunky machine and its weight reflects that because it weighs around 4.4 LBS. Some may not regard this as heavy, but as a scanner this is quite significant as scanners have become smaller and lighter over the years, but this Neatdesk scanner doesn’t exactly follow the trend of that, but some people may like that.

So, overall the digital scanner is a very capable machine that you will thoroughly enjoy using. No matter if you use your scanner for work or not, it would still suit you. It is very affordable and is very fashionable with a sleek design. It also comes with a lot more features than your standard everyday scanners because Neatdesk are a big company and therefore they have a lot of things to offer you as a customer. Personally, I think that the cloud based storage system that they have included is a very innovative and useful feature that I think many customers will love to use.
